When my client meetings ended I had a couple of hours to kill on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. In my wanderings, I stumbled upon the NBA league offices, which has a massive store on the bottom floor with every kind of NBA paraphernalia you could possibly imagine. It was sports geek paradise. I somehow managed to limit myself to a Utah Jazz t-shirt with the new logo, despite many temptations.
Also, lightning storms witnessed from above are really awe-inspiring. Airplanes let you see what's going on inside the cumulonimbus.
