White Nectarines

Is there any fruit better than a perfectly ripe nectarine? I would argue that there is not. My reward for home teaching came today in the form of two of the largest, most perfectly ripe white nectarines in the history of mankind. Toni ate one all by herself, and Anna decided to get started on the other one while we weren't looking. I finished what Anna couldn't—when she eats apples and nectarines, she takes two or three tiny bites and calls it a day—which ultimately raised the bar for all drupe from here on out.
