- I had a call with a prospective customer. This is normal. But halfway through the call, he interrupted me and said, "Wait. . . did you get your MBA at the University of Utah?" It turns out that we were both in the MBA program there, and were even in a few classes and groups together. I remembered him immediately. It took the pressure off of me for the rest of the presentation, and made us both chuckle. Small world.
- Also, this article about Khan Academy, which is an "online school" consisting of more than 1,600 "lectures" recorded by a genius with three degrees from MIT and one from Harvard. He lays down some serious knowledge, and his teaching style makes difficult concepts accessible to the masses. Oh, and all of his lectures are free. How cool is this?
